Research

The Swedish Institute for Children’s Books strives to both promote and support research on children's literature. We offer a research environment with access to the institute's research library, which includes a large collection of Swedish children's and youth literature as well as one of the world's largest collections of theoretical literature within the field. We arrange projects, conferences, workshops, and other events. We also publish the only Swedish scholarly journal on children’s and youth literature as well as a monograph series in collaboration with various publishing houses.
